While Mathieu Lehanneur received the Grand Prix de la Design Week de Belgrade which took place from the 4th to the 10th June, the air purifier Andrea joined the ‘Objets Thérapeutiques’ (Therapeutic Objects) in MoMA’s permanent collection, but also the one at FNAC (Fond National d’Art Contemporain – National Contemporary Art Collection) accompanied by the weather station ‘Tomorrow is Another Day’ Carpenters Workshop Gallery. This is an opportunity to revisit his captivating and prolific career debut with his book published by Gestalten last February.  The designer unveils what goes on behind the scenes along with his intellectual and visual approach. This book is atypical in that the path leading to the finished product is revealed: the book gathers inspirational photos, sketches, photos of the process, objects in position, and immerses the reader into the very heart of the designer’s studio. Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance has designed a soft and profound amber bubble of light on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower: the new Ciel de Paris restaurant interior design and furniture. From the bay windows to the central bar, depending on the aura of the mirrors, the skilled composition of the sombre reflections strengthens and transforms perspectives. Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance just launched “Borghese” sofa for brand new french design compagny La Chance. Borghese is a light sofa inspired by the stone pines of the Villa Borghèse in Roma. It reveals the organic and luxury design vocabulary of Duchaufour-Lawrance.  The metal structure reproduces the network of branches and supports the back cushions, with the ensemble creating a comfortable landscape.
