As a leading producer of wood flooring, the Compagnie Française du Parquet and its luxury range Secret d´Atelier offer an expansive collection of parquet made from French oak wood. Perfectly identified high quality wood is used to produce the flooring available in traditional solid wood, oiled or laminated, existing in various shades with natural or enriched finishes. C.F.P. parquets are produced in Myennes, in the French Nièvre department, on their 75,000m2 site. The site boasts two workshops, one dedicated to solid wood and the other laminated wood, completed by a finishing line producing up to 1,000,000 m2 of parquet a year.


As one of the most prestigious wood species used for flooring, French oak draws interest from around the world, starting with China ever since the closure of Eastern European forests exports. First produced as a single layer of solid wood and then laid according to a dozen traditional patterns, Herringbone, Versailles, Hungarian point, English or French (to name the most common), the constraints of parquet require constantly renewed creativity. Proposing time and time again new cuts and installation ideas to clients and architects, encouraging abundant creativity, the Compagnie Française du Parquet and Secret d’Atelier collaborate regularly with French designers, and are due to unveil new collections in the fall of 2021.


Founded in 1958, the Compagnie Française de Parquet launched the Secret d´Atelier collection in 2017. The first French house to create luxury parquet floors, it combines historical know-how with contemporary technological innovations. Its products are aimed at professionals and individuals who wish to adorn their floors with parquet which is at once innovative, original and of irreproachable quality. Secret D’Atelier sees parquet as a new form of architectural expression for the design of prestigious spaces.
