Oitis55 – Now le Off, brazilian design until 12th september

Created in 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, Oitis55 brings a breeze of renovation to the carioca creative market. The name was inspired by the Oiti tree which naturally exists in the Atlantic forest. This group is made up of 23 young design companies whose product protfolios stand out for their esthetic and environmental designs.

Conscious of their role as creators and transformers, the members think about developing furniture, objects and accessories through manual processes, producing locally and respecting the environment. From this belief, projects are born from poetic simplicity with a minimalist visual, while cozy at the same time.

An invitation to an unrushed and more pleasurable life, the creations often speak of art and innovation without giving up their daily practicality. This captivating mix has the support of SEBRAE and is gaining more and more momentum in the Brazilian creative scene with O Formigueiro, Ricardo Graham, DO BEM, studio Baoba, TEZE, Prime Design, Pedro Braga, Tum, Humano and Doppel.
