“10/10″ exhibition sets its sights on excellence at the 10th anniversary of Moda with François Bernard

From 3rd September to 3rd October, Moda presents 10/10, a wonderful exhibition, in the true sense of the term, designed with the French trendsetter François Bernard: 10 key contemporary design projects with their sights set on excellence to enchant visitors, attract curiosity, understand our era and celebrate 10 years of Moda for Paris Design Week.

It would be senseless to pit design’s functionality against magic, ”Magic is the trigger for inquisitiveness, for inventiveness. The pursuit of magic initiates and heightens knowledge, pushes technology to change daily life,” summarises François Bernard, temporarily abandoning the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte this September to take an enthusiastic look into the future at Moda in partnership with the Maison & Objet fair.

Selected international projects create a map of design work that resolutely takes a leaf out of Harry Potter: MiniMondo will install a 3D photo booth to scan and print statuettes of visitors with astounding photographic realism; in the basement Fluffy luminescent balloons by the Anglo-Japanese duo Tangent are suspended in space like jellyfish veined with light; the Takt Project offers a mobile that instils colour – poetic DIY and technical innovation applied to the plastic arts…

The wonderful projects follow one another in a scenography arranged over 800 m2 communicating creatively with very real furniture that also generates living better, produced by referent brands selected by the Moda team. Moda has been an exemplary ambassador of contemporary design for 10 years with architects to advise, explain and encourage our times to infiltrate our everyday surroundings.

An exhibition in partnership with Maison&Objet.
